Switching Property Managers Questions

Most switches wrap up within 5 to 10 business days. The exact timeline depends on how quickly your current manager responds during the handover.

No. The lease stays in place and the tenant's rights don't change. We introduce ourselves, provide new contact details and payment instructions, and make sure the transition's smooth.

Yes. You'll need to give written notice to end the existing management agreement. We provide a template letter to make this easy. The notice period is typically 30 days, but check your current agreement for the exact terms.

The bond stays lodged with the RTA through the transfer. Your tenant doesn't need to pay a new one. The management authority transfer is handled between agents.

There's no switching fee from FAA Property. You should check your current management agreement for any termination clauses or notice period requirements though.

New clients who switch their property management to FAA Property get their first three months with no management fees. This applies to the management fee component only. Standard letting fees and other charges still apply. Contact us for full terms and conditions.

Yes. You can change property managers at any point, no matter where the tenancy is up to. The lease is between you and your tenant, not between your tenant and the property management company.
